Vuoden ehdoton huippuottelu lähestyy, kun oktagoniin pitkän tauon jälkeen palaava Conor McGregor kohtaa UFC:n hallitsevan kevytsarjan mestarin Khabib Nurmagomedovin. Varhain sunnuntaiaamuna 7. lokakuuta käytävä ottelu on katsottavissa Suomessa ainoastaan Viaplayssa.
Seuraava UFC-gaala Viaplayssa tulee olemaan UFC 246: McGREGOR vs. COWBOY, 18. tammikuuta. Paljon odotetun tekevä Conor McGregor saa vastaansa Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerronen. Ilta näytetään PPV-otteluna kaikissa Pohjoismaissa. Ottelun hinta on 49,95 €.
Vuosikymmenen otteluun voi virittäytyä jo lauantaiyönä klo 3.00 Suomen aikaa, jolloin nähdään Khabib vs. McGregor punnitustilaisuus. Vuoden odotetuin UFC-ilta starttaa Viaplayssa lauantaina klo 23.00 UFC 229 -studiolla, jossa studioisäntä Iiro Harjulan vieraana nähdään asiantuntijat Jaakko Dahlbacka ja Jani Rajalin, jotka vastaavat myös otteluillan selostuksesta.

In addition to every main card fight, which will be shown with local language commentary, Viaplay will show preliminary bouts from all events when a Nordic fighter is competing. UFC’s current roster includes local stars such as Alexander Gustafsson, Pannie Kianzad and Josefine Knutsson (Sweden), Nicolas Dalby, Damir Hadžovi? and Mark Madsen (Denmark), and Jack Hermansson and Ivana Petrovi? (Norway).

Viaplay commits to UFC in Nordic markets
Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group), Pohjoismaiden johtava viihdepalveluiden tarjoaja, ja UFC, maailman johtava MMA-organisaatio, ovat tänään julkistaneet uuden yhteistyösopimuksen. Uudella monivuotisella sopimuksella UFC-ottelut näkyvät myös jatkossa Pohjoismaissa yksinoikeudella NENT Groupin palveluissa. UFC-ottelut näkyvät pääosin Viaplayn urheilupaketeissa, mutta joitakin otteluita tullaan näyttämään myös PPV-mallilla.
