Veikkauksen arpamyynti on laskenut merkittävästi arpoihin tämän vuoden alussa tulleen tunnistautumisedellytyksen vuoksi. Tämä näkyy myös Veikkauksen vanhimman arvan eli Ässä-arvan myynnissä. Ässä-arpa tuli myyntiin tammikuussa 1981 ja se oli ensimmäinen Pohjoismaissa myyntiin tullut raaputusarpa.

Veikkaus poisti 4. syyskuuta 2019 Rinteen hallituksen omistajaohjausministeri (sd) vaatimuksesta kaikki poliitikkojäsenet hallituksestaan. He olivat , , ja . He olivat saaneet yli 2000 euron kuukausipalkkiota hallitustyöskentelystään. Veikkauksen hallituksen poliitikkojäsenistä neuvoteltiin vuonna 2017 silloisten hallituspuolueiden sekä pääoppositiopuolue SDP:n kesken. Paatero sanoi tiedotustilaisuudessa, että uusien hallitusjäsenten valinnoissa painopisteinä ovat olleet digiosaaminen, vastuullisuus ja pelihaittaongelmiin vastaaminen.
